I've been busy planning something new for 2027, and I'm so excited to finally share it with you!
Next year I'll be running a series of beginner-friendly paper art workshops in Croydon Hills and around Melbourne's east. If you've ever wanted to try something creative but weren't sure where to start, these are for you.
What we'll be making
- Collage: cutting, tearing and layering beautiful papers to build a piece that's all yours.
- Origami flowers: folding blooms that last forever, perfect for a vase, a card or a gift.
- Lanterns: making paper lanterns you can take home and enjoy.
- Printmaking: simple printing techniques to make patterns, cards and artwork.
No experience needed
You don't need to be "good at art" to come along. We'll start with the basics and go step by step, so everyone leaves with something they're proud of. All materials are supplied, so you just need to bring yourself.
Working with paper is calm, hands-on and a lovely way to slow down. Once you get into the flow, the time disappears and you've made something with your own hands.
Who it's for
Adults wanting a creative break. Whether you want a relaxing morning to yourself or a fun catch-up with a friend, these sessions are a chance to switch off from screens and make something.
Families and kids. I'm also planning sessions where parents and children can create together. Paper art is great for little hands: it builds focus, fine motor skills and problem solving, and there's real joy when a flat sheet turns into something new.
